TTP Group opens Pharmaplan branch in Visp near Lonza AG

In response to the investment boom in the pharmaceutical industry, the TTP Group another Pharmaplan branch in Switzerland in the third quarter of 2021. With the new representative office at the biotech site in Visp, Pharmaplan as the Swiss market leader to the growing global demand for pharmaceutical engineering services and also underlines the commitment in the region.

World class manufacturing facilities for the GMP regulated industry

The aim is to handle the projects of regional customers from planning, through implementation and qualification to handover to the operational users and thus to strengthen customer relationships in Valais, e.g. with Lonza AG. “Visp is an important center for biotechnological pharmaceutical production and we look forward to working even more closely with the global player, Lonza AG in Valais. With the new branch but we also keep our promise. As a strategic partner and single point of contact, we guarantee our customers flexible project management for the construction, commissioning and qualification of their pharmaceutical and biotech production plants on site with our project teams,” says Stefan Berg, Managing Director of Pharmaplan AG in Switzerland.

Space for 60 employees

Bettina Riedl, who is already involved in several on-site projects as project manager and GMP expert, was hired as site manager to manage the operative business. With her many years of experience and her excellent understanding of customer needs in western Switzerland, she is the first point of contact for customers and interested parties. “There is currently an acute shortage of skilled workers. In our new branch in Visp, our experts from the fields of science, engineering and architecture will be available for the regional market to ensure the global supply of medicines of tomorrow, e.g. in the field of vaccine production. We are very proud of that,” says Bettina Riedl. The new office offers space for 60 employees.
